Dear Nairalanders,
Nigeria as it stands today is very much different from what it was in the past. People are more educated, many people reside in places far away from their home towns, while many more are migrating from one State to another for various reasons. There is now a blend of cultures to some extent, people learn languages that are not their mother tongues and many others dress alike nowadays no matter where they come from.
You would agree with me that Nigeria is becoming more of a global village.
Besides all these exposure, people especially parents, are scared to hell of allowing their wards marry other persons from another part of the country with a different culture and tradition.
What's wrong with inter-tribal marriages? Your honest views needed.
