I finished the second test today but yet to receive any response from Shell. My friend did his immediately after I was through but he could not submit before the time elapsed though he attempted all the questions. He was sent a rejection email almost immediately. Is it possible it's because he could not submit on time.

I don't think so cos I didn't t submit even though I attempted all questions , but am yet to get any response from shell.

I can no longer access my application page on shell site. i did my second test yesterday and i got no reply from shell. so i decided to login and see the status of my application and it keep telling me email and psswrd on found on the database.

Was is stated explicitly in the mail that you passed it? Or is it just a mail acknowledging that you have completed the online assessments and that your application will now be given careful consideration?

Here are a few tips on passing personality tests.
1. Be consistent in your answers. You may be asked if you like to delegate work, and you disagree. Many a times, same question will be repeated but rephrased to obviously know if you lied in the previous questions. In this case, choose the same answer throughout and be observant.
2. be wary of words like always and never. If you see a question that reads 'do you always say the truth?' a lot of people might jump to say yes. But that makes you non human because everyone of us has lied at a point in our lives. In this case, you disagree
3. It's evident it's not always about what we think the employer wants to hear, that's why it's a personality test. Do your best to tell them about yourself. Because if you lie it may be difficult to be consistent in your answers.
4. Choose answers like 'slightly disagree', 'neither agree nor disagree ' sparingly and not only 'agree' and 'slightly agree'. They are there to be chosen

Personally... I think you should fake a profile and take the tests...the important thing here is learning... The experience will come in handy wen u become eligible, perhaps other opportunities

Yes it's just a mail acknowledging that you've completed the assessment. If u didn't scale through the second assessment u get a regret mail otherwise u get the mail acknowledging that you've completed the assessment.

For we that took the test on Friday check your application status on shell.com/careers and go down a little to find manage application you can login into your account from there have check mine and is under review. I didn't received any massage from them but I track it.

wow!...you actually sent them a message?...well that's cool,the thing is everyone who did the test from Friday didn't get any feedback,am one of those too.

So Shell actually meant their stance on "first come first serve basis"...
I hope they don't finish choosing from those that wrote before Friday oo; because I have already started changing my wardrobe in anticipation of getting the Job

It means you passed all assessments..........if you didnt pass, why would they give careful consideration?.....

Hey. Thanks for this .By "successfully applied" I mean I got the "suspense mail" .A couple of people have two applications under review so I don't think applying for the new one necessarily counts for a withdrawal of d former. I applied for the commercial role.

I just finished the Decision making and numerical test. Didn't solve well in numerical but did pretty good in decision making. Waiting for a reply
