See them posing with their AK47 at peaceful demonstrators. But at the mention of Bokoharam that is armed with same AK47 they will disappear and start doing press up. Next they will say they dont have weapons to fight bokoharam.

Armed robbers will operate robbing banks for hours they will be no where to be seen. Its to shoot unarmed demonstrators they can do.

Boko Haram members are cowards. They can't face the Nigerian Army facially. They can only attack the innocent civilians or the Soldiers who are not battle ready. If the Soldiers get an intelligence that those guys would be showing up, the Boko Haram usually suffer the major casualties. It's only when the Soldiers do not get any intelligence that you see them manoeuvring.

Reread this comment and deeply ask yourself this : "to what benefit will this sort of posturing be to Ibos in general and to those who are agitating for war?'...

If we Ibos are seriously in unity; fighting to have 6 states in the South East within Nigeria would have been a very legitimate agitation which our brethren from every part of the World will support.

Let us be objective when it comes to issues such as this. War has never and can not be an option for progress

I expect a shot on sight order. Since the Biafrauds youths have chosen the path of early grave, our military and police should do the needful.

I'm Igbo, an Ngwa man but I do not support this Biafra cos its dead and buried.

Wonder why my Igbo brothers can't learn from history and stop reaping harvest of mistakes.

However wike should trade with caution or lose the Igbo's support in the event of a rerun.

I should have been in the position to ask you of what posturing sending some inept military men who couldn't even stop illiterate book haram members to come to port Harcourt to intimidate igbos, this is an army that has spent all its 100% of its life fighting internal wars and 0% in external war.
The only external war they could have fought defending oil rich bakassi Peninsula they chose to obey the ICJ ruling which no country obeys.
Now it has to do with an unarmed group demonstrating the incarceration of its members and Leader we now see gun totting soldiers trying best to look intimidating to biafrans who are unarmed.

Are you not aware of what happened to the last confab that was meant to resolve lingering issues about Nigeria and how a particular region decided to throw out recommendations and how some people are vowing to make sure the status remain unchanged.

Of what use is the creation of more unviable states when the federal system is not working.

lol......Promise Uzoma Okoro........you're a shame to journalism. You do not even know the proper usage of the idiom 'sacred cow'. You used 'detailed' instead of 'detained', 'they order' instead of 'the order', 'IPOD' instead of IPOB, flont instead of flout, 'police peace instead of public peace'. What a junk journalism!
