So sad. I served in Sokoto too. I have never liked night journey.

Allah's will will surely happen, but if I was the father, I would not have allowed her to continue Kaduna-Sokoto journey by 11:30pm. I can never allow anyone I have control over to do night travel.

We lost a close friend, Lukmon Busari to accident too during my NYSC in Sokoto. He was also a key guy in NYSC Press club, also studied at MAPOLY, also a mass communication guy.

May her soul rest in peace...So sad!

It is unfotunate. But if she had listened and waited till morning to continue her joirney, she would have been alive today. Night journeys are dangerous in Nigeria. Just avoid night journeys. A word is enough for the wise. And NYSC has no life insurance for any corper.

Those nysc officials that put pressure for her to return immediately, what will they do now that she is dead. Shey them no go continue work without her presence? Please your job is never too important or too urgent for you to risk your life. There are a lot of successful people in the world today that did not do NYSC. Your president is one.
