Dangote Group was at the weekend, rated among the 100 most powerful people in the world by Forbes Magazine. Aliko Dangote ranks as #71 most Powerful People in 2015. He was #68 in 2014. He also ranks as #67 Billionaires in the world 2015. He is #1 in Nigeria and #1 Africa’s 50 Richest (2014). President of Egypt, Abdel el-Sisi, is the only other African listed apart from Dangote and he was placed at number 49. Aliko Dangote and US President Obama are the only black people on the list.
