Worried by his single status, the All Progressives Congress Kogi State Governorship Candidate, Prince Abubakar Audu, has finally dumped his new wife for Hajia Halima Alfa, at a marriage held in the early hours of Sunday 8-11-2015, in Ankpa.

It would be recalled that the two time governor’s bid to marry from Alh Salisu Mariga’s family of Ayingba, some few weeks ago met a brick wall.

But disturbed by the several questions his kinsmen have continuously asked him about his marital status, Prince Audu, has finally settled for Hajia Halima Alfa. She was a two time Commissioner when he was governor of the state.

Hajia Alfa, until her joining the APC, was a member of the PDP and a Member of SURE P, a position she used to her advantage to make enough money.
She few weeks ago, divorced her former husband of over two decades.

The marriage with Prince Audu was done secretly amongst family members, a source in the Audu’s campaign organisation disclosed is an added advantage for the guber hopeful as Hajia Alfa’s financial muscle, he added would aid the ambition of the Ogbonicha Prince.

Prince Audu has had over five failed marriages. He recently married an eighteen year old half cast of Benue origin. But worried by her under age status and the negative public perception, her status was generating and the negative tendencies it was causing politically, Prince Audu was forced to go for Hajia Alfa.

Prince Abubakar Audu hopeful is known to have contested the governorship of the state in 1991, 1999, 2003, 2007, 2011 and now with a new wife.
