In the world we live in today, the internet has become a great place to meet. The Online community has increasingly become a platform for hooks up. However most times when a woman catches your attention online, getting her attention too is always a tug of war.

But for a guy, knowing how to talk to women online can give you an advantage and edge over others.

It is normal that there will lots of men going after the same woman you desire and to be the one who eventually gets her attention, you need to stand out.


How do you do that? Here are a few tips for men who are genuinely interested in healthy relationships and not those who simply want to run a game.

These five tips should help improve your experience with talking to women online.


1) Be Original
This may hurt a little but it is the truth. If you see a woman who you’re interested in, chances are there have been hundreds or thousands of men that have also made attempt to get her and so you might just be ONE of the many.

She would have gotten a lot of texts and might have gotten a lot of “you’re so beautiful, I want to get to know you” or “can we be friends” or the very simple “hey what’s up”. So the trick is, you have to set yourself apart from the crowd; Strive to be original.

Strike up casual conversation and let’s see if she is interested. Say something different, something away from the regular; tell her a funny joke, or anything that just isn’t the same old same old.

2) Read Her Profile
Most guys see a good-looking woman, and just want to hack into her inbox. They may check out a few details on her profile such as age, location, and what she is looking for, browse to see if she has more pictures.

What these guys don’t do is actually read what she wrote on her profile. Her profile is the only place where you can get information that allows you to tap and key into her interest. It gives you a wider base from which you can connect with her. When you are able to reference something from her bio in your conversation, it shows that you were willing to look deeper than her looks. A lot of women appreciate that, and take notice of the guy who makes that EXTRA effort.

3) Be Confident
Confidence is Key. Women love a confident man and most are attracted to men who exude confidence.

However, I understand that some guys might actually be confident but yet do not know or understand how to translate that into an online conversation. Well, it can be done.

You must be careful about how you present the confidence though so you it be mistaken for bragging, or someone trying too hard to impress her.

All you need to do is be positive and speak positively.

You have to show desire and not desperation.

You should show her that you aren’t scared or offended if someone isn’t interested in you.

Confidence doesn’t have to announce itself; it just shows in your poise and positive attitude.


4) Compliment Something Other Than Her Looks

As i said earlier in our first Tip, a woman online has likely been approached by a lot of men, which also means she has probably been complimented on her looks by a lot of men.

Another compliment about her beauty may be nice, but has no effect on her and you need to keep your eyes on the motive, which is getting her attention.

You won’t achieve that by saying what every other person is saying or has said, you need to create your own little niche in her mind.

The most effective way to do this is compliment something other than her physical appearance. Because you don’t really know her, this is why reading her profile and asking the right questions can be so important.

Maybe you will find things like what she does for a living, or what she has achieved, or any of her hobbies. This can help lead you to an opportunity to show a deeper interest in her, and give her a compliment about who she is and not how she looks.

5) Be Patient
No matter how great your infatuation for a woman you meet online has grown, you must learn to remain calm and confident.

You NEVER be anxious, or try to beg her for a date. That is an act of desperation and it’s a huge turn off for women.

Slow and steady wins the race. Patience is an absolute necessity which will eliminate the possibility of scaring her away. This doesn’t mean you can’t express an interest to see her, or however you feel. It just means that if she isn’t ready yet, then you embrace that and be understanding. Don’t be in such a rush if you genuinely want to build something with this woman. Always be honest about how you feel but be patient about how things can progress.
