When the right thinking people in the nation were telling PDP that the impunity and lack of internal democracy was too much they said they were talking nonsense. Atiku, Amaechi and the former Sokoto Governor warned them repeatedly but they refused. The only thing they could repay them with is suspension from the party. They now compounded the situation by fielding GEJ and jettisoned their zoning plan because of vested interest from Aneni, Akpabio, Wike, Dasuki, Clark, Mama Peace, jonah and those deceiving them, instead of telling the party the truth. GEJ was also power drunk, never thought of building on the legacy of the party but only want power.

I was too certain that Buhari would win the presidency coupled with the fact that Jonathan made some very costly mistakes. 2015 presidential election was one of the best we ever had in the history of Nigeria. Too late uncle. You also contributed to PDP's defeat when you allowed your AIT to be used for mundane hate, defamatory campaigns against Buhari and Tinubu. Two, PDP leaders at the state level also caused supporters to turn away from the party when the governors started behaving like Emperors and forcefully imposing all house of assembly, all federal reps, all senators in the state by one man. This is why your party also lost in some states. Even presently, some of your PDP governors like Wike and Fayose still haven't repented. They still talk like common touts. But the more they rant those abusive torrents, they more Nigerians hate them and their party and will never waste a single vote on them or the party. Too late uncle. Nigerians wont vote for a party whose governors have no decency in the way they talk.

Did you take time to read the piece at all? He never said there was any error in GEJ replacing Yar'adua after his demise but the error came after he completed the Yar'adua first tenure and not allowing the north to complete their second tenure but the party arm twist its own constitution as you're trying to do now, derailed. For more comprehension and assimilation, you can go over the piece again and again.
That singular act alone made many to lose hope in PDP especially the founding fathers of the party. The party and GEJ began to do things on their own and reneged on the party's principles and constitution. Simple common sense. That's the absolute truth. Jona was either too optimistic and patriotic or naive and stupid.

Anybody that says fielding Jonathan in 2015 general election was a mistake is a fool for making such statement,Jonathan lost election as incumbent but people should understand that he was not the first sitting president to loose election in the world, after May 29 hand over some people that cannot win even a local government election in their respective states are just attacking him almost on daily basis just because he lost an election.Jonathan lost 2015 general election because of 4 Governors out of the 5 Governors that left Pdp because he won all those northern states in 2011 and again all the Northern Pdp governors betrayed him including the immediate past Pdp National chairman during the election, even Obama the US president cannot survive the same treatment,Nigerians should thank God that Jonathan lost the election if not ,the way Apc was going ,They would have planned coup with outsiders to remove Jonathan from Power or the north would have started a war in Nigeria because they believed that they are born to rule.please you people should leave Jonathan alone and look forward on how to revive the party and strategize for 2019.
