Hon Chibuike Amechi was described as GOC I.e General officer Commanding during the ministerial sworing in today by the commentators. The GOC may refer to his former office as GMB presidential campaign organization coordinator or to his ability to weather the stormy ministerial screening by the senate especially the hurdle by PDP senators. A title am sure the top guns in the military and retired military personnels especially General officers and other red necks will find derogatory to be used on a "bloody civilian" like Amechi as the military use to refer to non initiates of their profession, politics no politics. Political conservatives may finnd it rather overrating to call him a GOC though his fans will rather be happy that he is receiving another unofficial title added to his former "The lion" isn't this rather too much praise on a public servant that is suppose to be more of level headed.
