In his message of goodwill, the Managing Director of Fidelity Bank Plc, Mr Reginald Ihejiahi commended the Fashola led administration for the good work it is doing in Lagos, saying the Alausa Power Project is the third to be financed by Fidelity Bank in Lagos.


He said the Power project which will supply power to 62 buildings and 160 departments will make the state more efficient.
The General Manager of the State Electricity Board, Mrs Damilola Ogunbiyi who also spoke at the event said by the end of this month, Lagos state will have 360 kilometres of fully lit public highways with 68 percent of such street lights being powered by diesel.

Provisions for Fashola imminent failure as a Minster are already being made.

When he fails, they( Odua people) will blame his failures on past administration who they will accuse of corruption and mismanagement of the power sector.

In this scenario, Fashola can continue his looting streak from where he stopped at Lagos in the Knowledge that his Odua people will defend him.

The diesel plants are the cheapest to construct but the most expensive to operate.


The plant constructed by Fashola is gas powered and was meant to replace a series of 150 diesel generators that dot the Alausa complex and even at 10mw was 15 MW less than the required 25 MW.


As usual with fashole the project was constructed in phases with a commitment to meet the shortfall of 15 MW which he never completed just like his lagos rail, lekki port, lekki airport and lagos cable car projects.
