CHEERING for the management, students, jambites and other stakeholders of the Abia State University, Uturu (ABSU) as the state government ordered the reopening of the institution by Monday, May 11, 2009.

Announcing the reopening in a statement, Mr. Sam Hart, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Theodore Orji, said the university's students will henceforth pay N47,500 per session. However, the new fees would take effect from the next session.

I see we are now in a private university, not to worry we will pay.

Please, I want to know the cuttoff mark of Economics and Accounting Department in ABSU.

@sweetsoul & i repnaija, the cut off mark for the last post ume in absu was 180 i.e a score of 180 and above in jamb permits u to sit for the post ume. This year we hope they maintain the same scoreline. Once the post ume result is released individual dept. have diff cutoff point for their dept with medicine and law having the highest cutoffs
