Earlier today, two guys were paraded in Obafemi Awolowo University for theft.. The culprits who were not students from of the University were alleged to have stolen 25 tecno phones, 15 Infinix phones, ten laptops and many others.. They were said to have come all the way from Benin with no other aim but to steal..
In a conversation with one of members of the security committee, he said one of them had come before the other, he then gave a call to the other saying " guy it be like say market dey for this side"..
The culprits were dealt with as the custom of OAU and then paraded.

Gone were the days when students where highly regarded and respected in the society, when every younger students wants to be in the university, when graduates and undergraduates where highly celebrated by their communities and society at large. Nowadays the breeds of students we have are prostitutes and robbers.

I am sure of one thing, OAU students are very brutal when it comes to dealing with thieves.

And rapists.

Once ur caught & beaten, they parade u round d halls and lecture theatres naked. Once they arrive at d lecture hall, d OAU professors just respect themselves and shift to one side while d SUG president takes d mic, brings them on stage & explain their crime. Na serious shame.

The only pple treated worse dn thieves & rapists are cultists. They say d SUG are d only cultists allowed on campus. They usually drop their bodies off in front of OAUTH when they've bn beaten to unconsciousness. They always die from their wounds. The VC complains but nothing is ever done.

This is nothing compared to what IGBO people are doing.
If it were IGBO thieves they would have killed and taken human body parts instead for extra money.

Ok Op abi na OPP, will ur post not hv the same effect if the Benin was not on the Topic. undecided

But sha thief na Thief o.

Don't mind him, and the mod found it helpful to put this on frontpage.

I wonder if Seun & Nairaland now officially aim to promote tribal or ethnic disunity, as if we haven't gotten tired of Yoruba/Ibo, ibo/Hausa being pitted against one another by post seeking to promote hate.

If this post is not corrected or taken down, then I will have to hold that belief

A nation of primitive human beings. Even among Ivy Leagues people still act like brutes. They should have handed them over to the authority. This is barbarism. I think the Nigerian police need to up their rep and do something about the state of nuisance in that society.
