FUEL SCARCITY: Are Trains Still Moving In Your Area? by saintopus(m): 9:37pm On Nov 15, 2015 |
Before the last days of the Administration of President Goodluck JONATHAN, there was resurgence of an appreciable and viable rail networks in Nigeria. There was the Lagos- Kano route, Port Harcourt- Enugu- Maiduguri route, Kano- Kaduna- Abuja route etc. Since the last administration nothing has been heard of this very important channel of economic growth. I do not live close to a railway station, so am asking if you have seen any train plying your area in case you live close to a railway station. Where have they all gone? 1 Like |

In port harcourt I hear train horns once in a while - like two or three times a week however for the past two months I've heard nothing. I don't live close to a rail station but know one precisely four kilometers from my house. |

Yea, I've been hearing a train honk everyday in Jos for like a month now... Tho I think the train passing is used by a mining company not for transit. |
