Who says Nigerians aren't interested in space exploration?

We are a group of students from Bells University of Technology who have collaborated with students in Brazil and Finland to design a moon exploration framework for the European space agency's moon challenge.

Our project is based on the idea that in the next decade, it is expected that humans will be sent to Mars to explore as well as set up a human colony on Mars. We have designed a Food production system for this human crew to take with them. Just to make sure that all possible errors are caught our project describes a framework for simulating the food production system on the moon before it is taken to mars.

We made a simulation video (from scratch) explaining the basics of the project although we have sent in a report to the space agency which gives a lot more detail about what we are doing. Unfortunately we cannot share this report here but we are available to answer any questions that might be asked. The name of the team is The FBN Coalition. F-Finland, B-Brazil and N-Nigeria. Nigeria's main contribution to this project will be research into the best crops that will thrive in extraterrestrial environments, as well as the genetic engineering of the crops to shorten their life cycles and increase yield. As you can see, Nigeria plays very important roles.
