The Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, yesterday gave a blast at Enugu Catholic Priest, Rev.Fr. Ejike Mbaka, for describing the on-going agitation for Biafra as evil.

MASSOB, said Fr. Mbaka, statement on the struggle for Biafra is insensitive and unguided. The group also said that a Biafran Republic will be declared very soon without bloodbath.

Director of Information, Factional MASSOB, Mr. Uchenna Madu described Fr. Mbaka’s condemnation of Biafra struggle as,”selfish and shameful.


“How can a reverred Igbo clergy-man descend so low in making such a condemnable statement few days after President Buhari’s wife visited him.

“Mr. President should be aware that no money given to Mbaka, persuasion, personal friendship with him can ever frustrate or diminish the rising status, consciousness and global re-awakening/acceptance of Biafra.

What other name apart from evil befits IPOB ? Its not like Biafra would be a better country if they left Nigeria

Father mbaka lost his relevance when he became a paid "preacher" for politicians. I am so ashamed I used to go to his church. I pity those that still attend his church. una are worshiping with a "preacher" dipped with greed. Continue to those that still attend..continue!!

I'm of the opinion that clergy men concentrate more on wining soul for GOD, any group within the country that are being marginalzed are free to stage a peaceful protest.

he snould have just said he does not think Biafra is the best option and stop there. Calling us evil is way too off.

I have been askong Nigeria for an explanation why a child who scored almost 70% in an entrance exam is denied admission while the one with 1% is offered the same admission, i dont have an answer yet.

Even the universal 40% rule of minimum pass mark is not obeyed.

For this singular act, I have made up my mind to have Biafra.

The likes of Mbaka are decieved by glamoir and money. They are the typical Igbo man who loves money more than justice,
