I reported on this site last week (plenty people nearly cut off my head) about a Hollywood megastar believed to be secretly battling HIV, well, he is now named as Charlie Sheen.

According to TMZ, the promiscuous actor will announce his HIV positive status on the Today Show on Tuesday.

The appearance has been billed as a “revealing personal announcement,” and although NBC has not clarified what that announcement is about, several sites—including TMZ and the Daily Mail—indicate it involves his HIV status.
“Charlie Sheen will reveal to the world that he’s HIV positive. Sources connected to NBC’s ‘Today’ tell TMZ … Sheen will sit down with Matt Lauer on Tuesday morning to make the announcement,” TMZ reports.

TMZ also reported that Sheen has known for a little over two years about his diagnosis and that thanks to the cocktail of drugs he has been taking the virus is now 'undetectable' in his system.

Wow, and I just watched him now on two and a half men, very funny guy.
