Ikengawo:Where on Earth is this one coming out from. MENTAL? He said kwigbo. Look out her mouth like kwigbo. It is not kwigbo but kwa igbo. Secondly, nobody asked you if you are igbo as far as ngozi okonjo iwela who at the age of 15 during the war was cooking/fetching water for the biafran soldiers is proud of her igbo heritage (she is from ogwashiuku: they migrated from ancient nri kingdom in Anambra), as far as prof utomi is igbo, as far as ifeanyi okowa, our able governor is proud of his igbo heritage, who are you. As far as Austin okocha, okechukwu keshi etal are proud of their igbo ancentry, who are you. Go and ask urhobo, ijaw, itshekiri or isoko man in Delta today who is their governor and his tribe. The last ohaneze's president was a delta igbo man. Lol.You certainly not igbo but a mixture of benin and isoko living near the igbos, may be bearing igbo name as usual with some of igbo dialects. You are suffering from confused tribal identity. Ask your father who you are. I am sorry for you. 2 Likes |

WASMOG:Govt was given 21days ultimatum by Ndokwa Youths to step down the electricity in the host community but rather than do what is right they mobilise army to intimidate us. Just one tower and the country is seeing the effect, until Nigeria learn to do it right, things like this will continue to happen. How can the noise of generating set and the pollution that comes with it be disturbing me for another person to enjoy the electricity? |

This was done by Ndokwa youths. It is either they step it down or they shut it down completely. #stepitdownorshutitdown. It's our stand. Now Read:You are here :Home»News»Ndokwa youths cut off Agip’s transmission lineNovember 13, 2015 at 12:06 am inNewsFacebookTwitterSMSWhatsApp….accuse firm of refusal to step down IPPBy Ochuko AkuophaOLEH—THE rift between youths of Ndokwa nation and Nigeria Agip Oil Company, NAOC, over alleged unwillingness of the company to step down its Independent Power Plant at Okpai, in Ndokwa East Local Government Area, Delta State, for the benefit of Ndokwa people, has deepened.File Photo: Protesting youthsThe irate youths, under the aegis of Ndokwa Youths Alive Progressive Forum, NYAPF, have cut off a transmission line of the plant over the alleged failure of the company to meet their demands. It will be recalled that Ndokwa youths have been at loggerheads with Agip for allegedly reneging on its promise to step down the facility to boost electricity supply in Ndokwa nation, 10 years after its establishment in the area.Vanguard learned that the cutting off of the transmission line came as stakeholders and the representatives of the company held a meeting at theoffice of the Deputy Inspector General of Police in Abuja to resolve the contentious issues. It was gathered that the transmission line was cut offfrom the plant’s tower at about 4a.m., on Wednesday.Claiming responsibility for the action, the group’s Public Relations Officer, Odanike Azuka, said the move was aimed at pressing home their demand which he said, also include the construction of a bridge across Ase creek.Azuka, who spoke to Vanguard on telephone, lamented that Ndokwa East, Ndokwa West and Ukwani Local Government Areas, which make up Ndokwa nation, have been in total darkness despite the presence of the IPP which he said was stepped down in Obosi in Anambra State and is providing electricity in nine states and parts of Abuja.Noting that Agip was insensitive to the plight of the people, he said the company cannot account for at least five Ndokwa indigene under its employment as direct staff since it started operation in their land in 1962.Azuka said their action would also serve as a deterrent to other oil companies operating in Ndokwa nation which are working against the interests of the people. On why the group decided to cut off the transmissionline while the stakeholders’ truce meeting was ongoing in Abuja, he said the meeting was the company’s ploy to buy time, adding that a similar meeting with the company in time past did not yield the desired results.Meanwhile, one of the stakeholders who attended the Abuja meeting told Vanguard that the deliberations were fruitful. |
