http://www.yourbudgit.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/THE-FATE-OF-STATES-Final.pdf This is no joke, I watch the chaps on TV and decided to visit the site. There are a couple of states that will go under considering the data here. We need to wake up from our slumber, no wonder the governors are crying out that they cant pay the 18K minimum wage. The drop in crude price has definitely given them a bit hit but this goes to show how lazy most of the states are. Now lets get serious , tell me 1) Why should FG get 52.6% while 36 states share 26%, 2) Why should roads, health care, school and co in a state be managed by FG after all these facilities are all in a state. They feel the pinch more. Infact they eventually do the job and beg FG to pay. This is rubbish Lets us rise up and ask these questions, this is not PDP or APC stuff. The current federal system will not work ever. FG is too far from the people. FG doesn't know the infant mortality rate in your LGA, they don't care. FG has too much money and that's why our legislators can be demanding for so much funds as allowance. Ministers become billionaires overnight. We need to start asking some pertinent questions. I agree that ultimately the LGA is the closest to the people but for now we need to get government as close as possible, we can start with FG to states. Please fellow Nigerians, this system is not working. Forget the APC and PDP stuff, lets talk about Nigeria. Please I beg you all READ THE LINK ABOVE. IT HAS GOOD INFO |

Though our FG not really fear but yet with that 26% state allocation if our governor are truthful they will still perform well... Major problem with our leaders is that they only embark on projects that does not have impact on citizen and useless project to embezzle big money eg in oyo state.. Ajimobi spent billions of Naira in the name of beautification (planting flowers, painting road with white and yellow color and call it road furniture) now flowers refuse to grow, paint fade etc if that kind of money is invested on Agriculture or giving soft loan to graduates imagine how many Job they will creates... State govt awarding km of road for 1billion above imagine that.. LGA even worst chairmen give return to state governor and some state self don't hv local govt chairmen no meaningful project again at LGA level yet FG give them allocation. Seriously Nigeria problems no be small matter... A rich country with poor citizens, no state in Nigeria that God does deposited natural resources for... No natural disaster but human disaster.. No where in Nigeria that farming is not possible .. All our states can survive without federal govt allocation if will really wake up from slumber... Nigeria problems is not PDP or APC but all our leaders are wicked and heartless but one day the bush meat will catch the hunter 1 Like 1 Share |
