Pls I was looking for a tread that says things about ECU but I didn't see.. Hence, this tread..

The security that comes with the car started misbehaving since last week.. The green light that has a key symbol on it.. It blinks at intervals and switches off the car.. Like ders a security breach..

Today it became worst.. It blinks after like every 5mins...

The electrician said he will check the brain box..

My question is..
Can it be repaired?
If it can't how much is a new brain box for 2000 Honda Accord?
If it's repaired.. Will it last?

Kindly give me ideas b4 something happens..

scan the car immobilizer module first and this will point will point u to the direction u will need to go.

Kano 15-25k. But if you need a temp permanent solution there's a way of disabling the immobilizer by cutting a circuit on the engine Ecu. Iv given you a hint but cannot give you all the detail because of security implications.

Its Just one relay oo.. i opened the relay to snap the first and 2nd pix..
the 3rd and fourth pix.. is how it looks..

drove it yesterday evening..
went to church dis mrng and back .. No issues.. I hope it remains that way!!!
the power is 12v
