The family of Late Audu Abubakar, former governor of Kogi State and the All Progressives Congress, APC suspect foul play in his death.



www.metronaija.com reports that close family members who spoke anonymously revealed that Audu complained of stomach cramps before going to bed on Saturday night. He suffered a stroke on Sunday morning at about 5am and died.

''My uncle was poisoned, he was poisoned'', one of his nephews reportedly said. “He shared a meal with a top APC chieftain from the South West (name withheld) a few days ago. Since then, he has not been himself. His death is planned. It is all about usurping his position.”
