It has been a frustrating few months reading Metuh and PDP's rants online, all in the name of playing opposition politics, which only makes them sound like a bunch of sore losers. What's even more frustrating is seeing PDP supporters attributing the resounding defeat at the polls to APC's propaganda machine, It's in light of this that I write this............
Nigerians didn't vote for APC because of the propaganda or the promises made. Infact, many that voted for the APC have even forgotten their campaign promises. Most Nigerians voted for APC based on 3 main reasons............... 1. Jonathan was leading the nation towards destruction and needed to be stopped. Every Minister, senator, commissioner, secretary, even to the gatemen were trying to out do their colleagues in looting the Nation. The current situation of things in Nigeria now are the results of this act.................................. 2. We voted in Buhari and the APC to set up structures and systems that will actually function and stand the test of time not the types that some party members will hijack and turn to money ventures..................... 3. We needed to pass a message across to all political parties that we are tired of the usual we need a change and will vote out anybody that doesn't perform.

The actions of the opposition should not be your concern, rather you should focus on meeting the challenges head on and proferring developmental solutions to these challenges.
In a race, if you are in the lead, you do not look sideways or behind you to check the distance between the other contenders and yourself, rather, you focus your speed and stamina on finishing the race at your own pace. If you spend too much time looking behind you, you might end up falling flat on your face, and your opponents will take the lead.
Also, you shouldn't attempt to generalise the perception and reason the multitude of voters thumbed APC. Many voted for the campaign promises, I don't know about you.
