A Nigerian based Journalist, Augustina Armstrong Ogbonna, has just won a gold medal for her reports on the humanitarian and developments aspects of the United Nations.
She is the only Nigerian to receive a United Nations award on Journalism this year.
She won the award for the category of The United Nations Foundation Prize for print (including online media) and broadcast media (TV & Radio) for coverage of humanitarian and development aspects of the U.N. and U.N. agencies.
She will be honored in the United states with her medal and some other entitlements in December.
Augustina Armstrong Ogbonna has been a Reporter for almost a decade.
