Wether its a parent who needs to make a quick meal for the child, or its a student who can’t afford something else, or a person with next-to-zero cooking skills, you can be sure instant noodles will be there to the rescue.

But there are some interesting things noodles does to your body:
1. It pushes your body’s Sodium levels beyond the limits: Some really smart nutritionists came up with a thing called Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA). Its the levels of intake of a particular nutrient to enable a person stay healthy.

There are about 2,700 mg of sodium in the average noodles pack.
It gets interesting here. According to experts, the maximum daily intake for ages 1 to 3 is 1,500 mg; ages 4 to 8, 1,900 mg; ages 9 to 13, 2,200 mg, and ages 14 to 18, 2,300 mg.

What one pack of noodles gives you is way too much. And this is what excess sodium does to you over time; it reduces your kidney’s abilities to remove water. Copied from 9jatea.com This in turn can increase blood pressure and strain blood vessels around the kidney.

2. It has something nasty in it called TBHQ: Tertiary Butylhydroquinone is a preservative used in noodles. Its why your noodles can stay fresh over a long period of time. Lethal doses of TBHQ which is somewhere around 1-4 grams can cause nausea, delirium, collapse, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), and vomiting. There are also suggestions that it may lead to hyperactivity in children as well as asthma, rhinitis and dermatitis.
These -itis mentioned are not friendly, so you might want to check the TBHQ levels in your noodles.
Brace yourself. There’s more nasty stuff coming
