Thank goodness I didn't fell for this. I don't know why most Nigerians believe these fraudsters on a daily basis. This isn't the first time this is happening and wouldn't be the last all because of discount that you wouldn't get. The so called discount is a strategy to woo people to fall for their marketing tricks yet some persons are gullible.

This is the height stupidity and lack of integrity from all those yeye online stores. Don't be surprised that October next year, this idiocy will start flooding every website and then finally another black Friday would reach and the same crâp (that happened today) will happen again.

They (jumia and konga) are both scams. The price changes were not too significant. Only exceptions were outdated items that I am sure they just want to get rid of.
I can tell you there was no discount at all. If you've been visiting jumia website for instance, you'd notice that everything remained the same price today. See what they did, if Galaxy S6 for instance was 100k yesterday, today it's still 100k but they'll write another 180k and draw a line across (cancel) it to make it look as if that's the price and that the supposedly new 100k is the discounted price.

I experienced and corrected that. You should check your cart; it may be showing 2 orders. If so just delete one better still delete all and try again.

Infinix hot 2 is damn expensive for 36k.it's about 19k.I will advise you buy infinix hot note with 2Gig RAM for 27k.I heard the new ones supplied recently have been upgraded from Kit kat to lollypop.

not cool at all. stop playing with people's business. If you cannot buy online, then go and buy in the shop. No one stops you from buying in the shop. After-all, before the Online market, they was offline and there is still offline. You can still buy from offline shop as you do. I pray people don't spend your money and waste your precious time unnecessarily. What goes around, comes around. Whatever anyone sows that he/she must reap. I just have to tell you to change your ways. You are intentionally wasting people's time and money with unnecessary punishment. It is simply not cool at all.

Please don't teach any person any lesson. We are in a free world. If you don't like it, then you leave it. they are doing their business just as so many Nigerians are doing their businesses. If you are not happy with their their product and services, then you simply don't patronize them. It is as simply as ABC.

under this stifled and Buhari-lized economy una still dey find awoof for jumia and konga

I knew this will be a sham from inception. No business will want to record losses at the year end let alone with the prevailing economic situation

Assuming you place an order for a 42" tv @ almost half the price (loss recorded already) then shipping it down with the scarcity of fuel in town, haba!!

Y'all should wait 4 santa grin

The scam was terrible. There is a binatone vacuum cleaner Ive been planning to buy for the past 2 weeks and it was N18,000. Today with the so called black Friday, the price was inflated to N22,000 then slashed to N18,000 which had always been the price. Deception at its worst. Only in Nigeria. ..

They outsmarted most Nigerians..I noticed this scamsh!ts one day I bought from aliexpress, checked konga they tripled their price, infact they used the same advert pics ali used, then cleaned the original prize and added theirs, it's quite business but they slit people's throat..#be_wiser..

I swear, they deserve curse...
Imagine, wat actually killed Jumia was too much mouth..
On radio-- 90%
On Tv ----- 90% discount all over..
My mama sef hear say them wan do bonanza..
Foolish people...

B4 now, they inflated all the prices above the normal rate,
Then today their black fraud day, they discounted the prices back...

Leading people to believe they removed a large portion out of the prices but a normal person that did vigil with jumia will knw they only returned the prices back to the normal rate...

What's the difference between a phone that cost 27k discounted to 26k...
na reasonable discount be dat?

Been laughing so hard! grin grin

Sorry o my people. Old school people like me simply 'camped' early this morning in front of regular shops and got good bargains. Many items were sold at 30-35% discount for real. I checked the prices weeks ago and early this week. Most of the good items were sold off within the first hour.

Meanwhile my young ones were glued to Jumia and Konga waiting for the impossible. Very unfair deals. angry

I have neva trusted online shops as far as Nigeria is concerned cos nothing works well in dis country.

Do u knw dat my cousin bought Tecno Camon C8 for N24,500 in Benin about 2wks ago and Jumia's price was about N28,000 at dat time.

Guess wat, yesterday's black friday deal didn't change d price!!!
