Cutecindybabe , ah had 56 even with mah awesome SSCE result (Physics, chemistry , Biology , maths , English where all B2)even had an A in some subjects outside mah five compulsory subjects so, which ever way dey chose to calculate, wouldn't have been on Dha "low side". . what else do dey want?? ? Nobody knows how it was calculated!! Anyways, let's wait for dha cut off and if admission Doesn't come "knocking on mah Door " , I'LL PERSONALLY GO TO DHA ADMISSION OFFICE AND DEMAND THEY MAKE THEIR MARKING SCHEME OPEN!!!! I WOULD'NT DISTURB MYSELF BY THESE FLOPPY SCORES AAU GAVE COS THEY CAN'T DEFEND WHAT THEY JUST DID. ITS JUST TO JUSTIFY THE ALMOST 6K THEY COLLECTED FROM US... COME TO THINK OF IT, ON WHAT BASES WERE THE SCORES ALLOTED? DEFINITELY NOT THE POINT SYSTEM COS IF IT WERE THAT, I WOULD'NT HAVE HAD WHAT I HAVE NOW... EVEN BEFORE I KNEW THERE WAS MASS FAILURE I HAD ALREADY KNOWN THAT WHAT THEY DID WILL NOT HOLD WATER COS THEY CAN'T GO AGAINST THE FGs STANCE ON THE MATTER WHEN BIGGER SCHOOLS ARE ALREADY SUBMITTING. THINKING ALOUD THOUGH, WERE THE SCORES ALLOTED BASED ON WHOSE SCREENING WAS MORE CORRECT OR WHAT? COS LAST TIME I CHECKED VERIFICATION OF RESULTS CAN'T BE GRADED UNLESS AAU HAS A BETTER MEANING OF " RESULT VERIFICATION" 1 Like |

i read some comments and i become angry...this system was initiated before jamb started posting candidates because at that point the admission process was still vague.there shall be no cut off mark or why has eksu not release her own cutoff mark plus the process has to be uniform not some schools doing different things and others doing another. dont expect any cut off mark. i did screening at delsu and there was no screening scores given to anyone..the truth is if you have been posted by jamb and there's no deficiency in your 0'level results,go and start celebrating 1 Like |

Jason555:come on Dr bro,be diplomatic! the only active female here should be treated wid utmost respect. Between, did you know the jamb course statistics for AAU medicine? Last year over 300 were admitted for medicine,but if this jamb policy is succesful and not subtly subverted its a good thing ,it means jamb will not exceed the qouta given to each school by MDCN ,that of AAU is 50 on MDCN website but some are saying it has been increased. There will not be overcongested classroom,but i fear those state universities they've got method to topple things. With Self determination, you gat no problem.Yes, you have been told about what you are about to venture in. My brother do told me about many graduates of other medical related courses and sciences even that have well paid job starting from the scratch i.e 100lvl just to be a doctor knowing that DE into AAU medicine is on hold, he also said there are numerous student also that are undergraduate already but forfeited it just because they want MB;BS ,My j.bro was also studying in EKSU 300lvl before he joined ,he is 17years old .They offered 8 courses in the 1st semester and about to start the 2nd exam. Though am Civil Engineering student in different school,i love the Aau thread because my junior brother is studying Medicine there. |

Fortunate017:Good Evening AAUITES . Most of the awaiting result candidates were present at Kofa office today . While they were being addressed, they were told that they will come for their own screening when they see their 0'level result . That was the major reason why they were summoned . Most of the candidates were feeling disappointed because they have to travel from far distance to make sure they were present at the Kofa office today . Stephen Ikhane aka AAU Update was wondering why they should call all awaiting candidates to Kofa office just because they want to address and also tell them that they will do their own screening after seeing their 0'level result when the news could be passed across via news bulletin . Well, hopefully WAEC result will be out by August I don't know about NECO and GCE |
