Stretching your relaxers is an excellent way to improve the overall health of your hair. This is because constant relaxing of our hair can lead to breakage. However there are things you can do to ensure that you are able to stretch your relaxers (i.e. not relaxing your hair for more than 8 weeks) effectively and I cover them here.

If you have any questions or comments I would love to hear them.

Protein treatment is when you use a deep conditioner with protein to deep condition your hair. This is different from a tea rinse. A tea rinse can prevent and help with shedding. The teas to use are black tea (this is ordinary lipton or top tea that they sell every where), you can also try green tea and other herbal teas. Under no circumstance should you use ovaltine or milo these are not the tea to be used for tea rinses. I have explained in much more detail on the blog you can just type what you are looking for in the search button located on the right hand side of the blog and you will find detailed posts on various topics.
