How many transformer did he bring for them? How many housing estate did he built for them. How many people did he employed? Jonathan only empowered individuals that are close to him. Himself said it during campaign in Porthacourt that he knows that what Rotimi Amaechi was saying about not doing anything for south south was true and it was a challenge for him but they should not worry, when he's re-elected, he would do a lot for south south but the second chance did not materialised. If your submission is that he empowered individuals to the detriment of the general populists, then I'll buy that.

My Broda ,On party lines Bayelsa is supposed to be 100% pdp, but Dickson has been a "bad market". He seems to have squandered so much goodwill by non-performance. As someone said picking between sylva and Dickson is like being forced to choose between HIV AIDS and EBOLA.

Both of them are very poor performers, dickson adds talkativeness to his non-performance while Sylva adds violence and killings to his non-performance. If sylva wins, some guys must leave town if they want to stay alive.

Funds will play a major role here and APC will be able to match salt for salt, rice for rice etc. I see Emami Ayiri with some APC leaders in one of the photos , e mean say cash go flow.

Another key factor is most SS states do not "like" to be in opposition, historically it is always a case of aligning with the center either right or wrong, it is with the "perception" that aligning with the center presents better developmental options.

I think Dickson has an edge in this election but .......

dicksons dictatorial style of governance might just be nearing its climax...our leaders should always learn to please its people when they are in government because it is only the people that can fight for you when trouble comes....dickson governed bayelsa like a god and he just might meet his waterloo come Saturday...the man is just too ugly too...cant stand his face as the governor of bayelsa state...

Even though Elections are not won by crowd at campaign ground (ask Osun PDP during Omisore's campaign - the people just wanted to see guest artistes perform), I really dey fear for this Dickson guy. Even his commissioner and allies are leaving his camp daily.

And some months back i was in yenogoa and honestly considering what bayelsa earns and its land mass u wld have expected so much from dickson but unbelievable the state is stil the way it was since creation sef.
U see rubbish on the only major road of the state and u dont even see any new road.I think dickson was just waiting for mama peace to come and return him ,but unfortunately mama peace is no where to be found now so he is now OYO.

I wish both of dem luck and wish the peoples mandate is delivered

my friend on performance sylva is not in anyway better than Dickson. both are poor performance. my problem with sylva however is his love for blood.

I don't blame the commissioners for decamping. Nobody stays in a sinking ship. Pej,orubebe,olisa metu,edwin clark and many others would have done the same thing if not for pride!!! I still see them doing it soonest because an average Nigerian politician is shameless!

I'm a Northern and currently serving in Bayelsa State. The point is that many of them came there to curse Tinubu and PYO, I was there, the fuel scarcity and economic situation is the reason most of them came there, the point is that Jonathan is still well worshipped there, u need to see how people bow at his motorcade, they still see him as the President!
