 Do you know? * King Sunny Ade (KSA) is from a royal family in Ondo, Ondo state but he was born in Oshogbo, Osun state. * KSA began his career with Moses Olaiya's (Baba Sala) Federal Rhythm Dandies, a highlife band. * KSA was the first African to be nominated twice for Grammy Awards; Syncro System (1983) and Odu (1988). * KSA released three albums for Mesa Record in America. * KSA music was used in three Hollywood movies; Breathless (1983) , One More Saturday Night (1986), and O.C. and Stiggs (1987). * KSA acted in a Hollywood movie titled "O.C. and Stiggs" in 1987. * KSA acted in a Nollywood movie titled "Fopomoyo" by Chief Jimoh Aliu (Aworo). 1 Like |
