Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) yesterday said it is taking steps to develop a regulation that will deal with unsolicited text messages and illegal data charges by telcos. Its Executive Vice Chairman, Prof. Umar Dambatta, spoke in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State during the 1st Ebonyi Youth Summit on refocusing talented youth for sustainable national development in training and capacity building through ICT revolution. “The commission is taking steps to develop a regulation that will deal with unsolicited text messages and illegal data charges,” he said.
