What will be the fate of soludo, our CBN Governor as he relieves his office today?

He's a prof. He can go back to the classroom but I predict he'll be called to higher responsibilities by either the world bank or IMF. I'm confident he knows what next to do. He's wonderfully acquitted himself. In saner climes, he'd still be in office.

Former chair of the US Federal reserve, Alan Greenspan, was in office from August 1987 when Reagan appointed him to January 31, 2006 when he retired. In that interval of time, he was reappointed every four years and attained legendary status for steering the US economy through its longest and largest expansion in history.

In all, he was there for 19 years. He was not sacrificed at the altar of political expediency. He served both republican and democratic presidents. Americans know that their economy is not a matter of partisan, racial, or ethnic politics.

I think he should try to pick up an international job and leave Nigeria

Because the inferno of attacks from compromised journalists will be too much for him to bear if he is still within the country.
