As Godswill Akpabio will like to put it, if the war has actually ended, why is there no plan to implement the Rehabilitation and Reconstruction in the region where the war was actually fought and facilities / infrastructures bombed to stone age. On a second look, the reconstruction and rehabilitation started and were focused in the North and Western Regions of Nigeria.

You do not fight a war and expect there to be no consequence. While you were busy fighting and destroying structures in your region, others were building structures and advancing socially.

There is a grand plan to suffocate the people of Eastern Nigeria and continue the devastation through skewed policy implementations by falsifying Census figures to favour the victors of the civil war, negligence to providing minimal life sustaining infrastructures that will spur growth and development that would help to stop these uncontrollable mass movement of the Igbo youths to other regions where these amenities are readily available.

stop this nonsense. Before the war, millions of igbos were living in other regions. infact, i must say that there were more igbos living in other regions then than now. Our representative in the NA are the same ones kicking against these said skewed political policies. What is the outcome of the constitutional reforms that ihedioha chaired?

Today, the North is killing the Igbos after the Igbos have surrendered to one Nigeria while the West is threatening fire and brimstone preparing its people to unleash genocide on the Igbos in the South West unless they surrender their wealth and liberties to the Yorubas and forgo their political rights as enshrined in the constitution of One Nigeria.

Bros, the Igbos need breathing space, equal right and justice after surrendering to One Nigeria but alas what we are seeing is more hostilities, threats and call for genocide of our people

Even the sharing and allocation of political offices in present Government and the ruling Party is a testament that the war has not ended

What north are killing igbos? Since after the war, there's being more death of Hausa's in the North than there are of Igbos. And is it only igbos that were killed in Northern riots? EDOs, Middle beltans, SSners and SSners all were killed.

Don't quote me again as you can see, I am not an average student/lady but a first class grade lady hence I can no longer put up with this your dumbness after taking much time to upgrade your mentality on the "whys" of Biafra struggle and the alternates.

Militarily and economically Biafra is not matured enough to stand. The logic behind wanting to create Biafra is deeply flawed, when you cry marginalization who in this nation isn't really marginalized! Is it the people of Borno that wake up to countless bloodshed everyday and the federal government hasn't been able to stop the insurgency or is it the Yoruba man that is involved in everyday life hustle like their Ibo brothers?Truth is,ibos are amongst the most comfortable and successful tribe in this nation .We should hold our igbo leaders accountable from the state level to the ward level for good governance first...

Biafra is dead on arrival, for no sovereign nation gives up any part of its territory just like that.

Enough said bro
Look at the state of the East, no one is saying anything, some how it's Buhari and the Norths fault. How daft can my people be.
I would love to see a Biafra one day but if we can't govern our states properly how are we going to govern a country.
These jobless youths should go and find something doing before they get gunned down, all this destruction is only to our detriment, the rest of Nigeria is laughing at us

Let us all collectively make our voice heard that we are not in support of a cause that might lead to widespread violence as it did some 40 years ago. Let us prove these miscreants that the majority of igbos do not support this cause or at least do not want from any violent means.

I witnessed their procession in Aba and there was no iota of violence whatsoever. Yes, Nnamdi Kanu made some inciting comments but IPOB supporters have so far no heeded to any of those comments. The only thing I don't support is depriving other people of their freedom. Like blocking highways and telling people to close their shops. That is not violence. If you want to see violence, go to Borno. Before we know it they will tell us that IPOB has overtaken bokoharam in violence lending credence to the hypocrisy of Nigerians.
No... all civil unrests usually start the way these IPOB guys are presently doing. Nnamdi kanu who is a leader they revere keeps making inciting comments, for you to really think the followers will remain peacefull for much longer is a clear sign of naivety on your path.

As they keep blocking roads and forcing traders to close their shops, if you understand human psychology and mob behaviour, you would get the picture very clearly that these guys are desperately looking for a confrontation, a confrontation which would be the match to ignite them to violence. So far security forces have exercised restraint (strange for the Nigerian forces), only God knows what led to the crisis yesterday. But that crisis yesterday is exactly what the IPOB giys have been waiting for, they've desperately been waiting for a reason/excuse to go irate.

First off same way you don't want violence is same way I don't want violence . just on Tuesday here my mom was held captive for close to 12 hours, in head bridge and against peoples will they were made to lock up their shops. Why force something on people when them don't want it.

And as for we don't want Nigeria that laughable you should have said I just like you am part of the south east and I don't want Biafra.

For why I want Nigeria to be one so badly is because I believe in the power of our diversity and the hate among easterners is damn too much. WHen they don't have the Hausa and Yoruba they begin fighting with themselves. So much hate.

And if I may ask you is it not same corrupt leaders we have now that will still rule us then.

You're already judging them even before they commit a crime that in your mind they will end up committing. Are you saying that people should not protest anymore because it may turn violent. Where were you when people gathered at Ojota in the name of fuel subsidy protest where Tjnde Bakare and some opposition leaders were shouting that the helicopter hovering over the place should crash. If in your mind IPOB is looking for a reason to escalate, it now behoves on the government not to give them that reason. At least you agree that they are yet to become violent.

The struggle for Biafra is a legitimate right, but when done without recourse to conflict.
IPOB is obviously populated by youths without tact and brain. And if these are the youths that would lead us into the utopian Biafra then we've a problem. You always want things to be done Nnamdi Kanu's style. A style of all talks without strategy and diplomacy.
It's obvious that these folks are bereft of concrete ideas on how to go about this struggle. Many of them plan to draw us into an unprepared conflict with the Federal Government. While others just want to be heard. Unknownwingly, many don't know that they are playing into the hands of foreseen enemies who have always wish harm on us and we know who these vermins are.
It's high time IPOB separate themselves from the selfish tactics of Nnamdi Kanu and embrace a full non-aggressive struggle devoid of conflict. Because a conflicts of any disguise wont favour our people. The likes of Rochas and Ohaneze knows this and no true Igbo son would allow bloodshed flow in his homeland, not to talk our people in the north.
I think it's time people with brains start owning this struggle. Uchenna Madu from the look of things is diplomatic and a true representation of a non-violent protest. He is the epitome of the true ideals of MASSOB. The dude understand the dynamics of Nigeria better than Kanu and his brain dead deputy Uche Mefor. We cannot afford to lose thousands of lives because of an Nnamdi Kanu who deliberately allowed himself to be cornered by the DSS.
The South-East has a genuine demand, even if the federal government seem to be unruffled to call for a round table discussion. Yet, sticking to this primary objective is very important.
Let all true nwafor join hands and preach the message. #No to Violence, Yes to a Referendum#.

bro I appreciate this. It's annoying anytime I read anything from Nnamdi Kanu and hissupporters the way they insult any person whether Igbo, Hausa or Yoruba that have contrary opinion is alarming. They seems to have no plan at all on how to go about this. No tribe in Nigeria is happy with the government every tribe has been marginalized, If Properly packaged Biafra WILL receive support from every tribe in the country instead IPOD is alienating them.

not every single person in hausa hates the Igbo's. If they do there has to something causing it, you say the hausas hate the igbos have you really stayed with the hausa's or because of the ranting you see online. Don't just assume things yes a few of them does hate the Igbo's same way a few lgbo men hate the Hausa's. It vice versa
