This happened at Awolowo Way Ikoyi this morning. Some DSS officials forcefully arrested fuel black market sellers on the road and even beat up one of them that refused to be arrested. An eyewitness said one of the dealers was beaten badly and they tore his clothes.

If there is more than enough fuel in circulation, black market will die naturally. Let the govt stop arresting people but rather supply enough fuel to push them out of market. And if I may ask, why has DSS started doing police job?

Hmmm, the arrest is ok but not necessary. If the FG provides fuel, black marketers will natural fade and if possible dash out their fuel or use it all the same.

So why not flood the market with fuel so that DSS could face other pressing security issues.
Re: DSS Arrests Fuel Black Market Sellers In Lagos This Morning (photos) by Leebeedo(m): 2:38pm On Dec 04, 2015
This is pure hypocrisy. Go to the north, stuffs like selling fuel by the road (black market ) and smoking of Indian hemp is a norm. Such acts are not seen as illegal but down south , it's like a taboo.

Nigeria, a country of double standards.

Black market trading of Fuel products especially during scarcity is a normal trend in Warri.
Government officials must clamp down such activity, as tendency of it creating a severe situation is quite high,we all know how human error can cause alot, person fit dey smoke make e go catch fire and before you say Halleluyah the whole surrounding is on fire.

Witnessed this palaver on my way to GTBANK this morning. They were Lagos State KAI officials not DSS.

The chap was a vulcaniser that was doubling as a fuel black marketer. He resisted arrest and was thoroughly manhandled by the KAI officials and the MOPOL personnel attached to them.

What of people who sell black market currencies? Is it because they are abokis?
