4 years Later, atheism is still going strong

You don't validate something based on the number of people that believe/ follow it.

Whether atheism is rising or declining has nothing to do with whether theism is correct. This is mostly a matter of birth rates, and being born into a religious family and adding to the statistics of that religion isn't what we are going to used as a verdict on which worldview is valid.

To be religious, is to side with faith about the unseen, to be irreligious is to side with evidence based reasoning , and intellectualism. And as societies become more advance intellectually and technologically religiosity tends to decline.... Developed nations (like Germany, France and the UK) are a good case study.

This is probably an embellishment of the facts. The house was occupied for a while by a lay president of the Evangelical Society of Geneva and was never used as a printing press. Today its a museum dedicated to Voltaire's life and work.
