1. You didn't study the person very well to know his/her character before you start the relationship( gold digger / player).
2.You started dating the person simply because you were tired of being single and not because the person possess all u need in a partner.
3. You don't know what u want.
If u want a lasting relationship, you have the image of your potential partner in your brain, try your best to find someone close to that standard if it becomes impossible to find the imaginary partner.
