When you ask Nigerian kids to list 5 nonprofitable organizations in Nigeria.
1. Communicating For Change
2. Guildance Community Development Foundation
3. Leadership for Environment and Development (LEAD) Nigeria
4. Living Hope Organization Nigeria.
5. Religion organization in Nigeria.
Now, when kids become adults and you ask same question again.
1. Communicating For Change
2. Guildance Community Development Foundation
3. Leadership for Environment and Development (LEAD) Nigeria
4. Living Hope Organization Nigeria.
5. _________________________________
Question: Why did you remove religion?
Answer: Sir, my reasons are;
1. Since they now pay land use charge in Lagos and the state may soon regard their buildings as commercial structures.
2. South Africa now have organization that audit and monitors them.
3 UK govt no longer see them as absolutely nonprofitable since 2008.
4. Their awareness and advertisement is now more than UN, AU and WHO combined advertisements in Nigeria.
5. Their individual leaders are 3 times richer than president and director general of international committee of red cross combined.
Sir, may I add St Orphanage as 5th nonprofitable organization in Nigeria? Yes, you can.
Greater thanks to Lagos state govt, we now have controlled noise from public address systems of these organizations in Lagos. Whether it is from mosques or churches, noise is noise. God is not as deaf as we imagined it, he need not the loudest speakers to hear our calls and prayers. Didn't he say that he lives in us in one book and he said that he is closer to us than veins in our necks in other book? Is it that these organizations care less about human comfort, just imagine patients that find it difficult to sleep in hospital during the day, they are supposed to rest at night and they steal their night away from them with speakers and noise. What kind of love do you preach when you expose humans in your environment to over 80dB (decibels) of noise for 4-5 hours? You may likely fast track partial deafness which you have no capacity to cure with so called signs and wonders.
This is not hate writeup, it is only pointing to fact that is obvious to me and you, but we are only reluctant to accept it.
Love the Creator.
Love his creations.
