Hello all,

I would like to know what the process for change of ownership (Due to sale) of a car is.

What documentation needs to be in place and how will I go about it.

Appreciate comments from the learned forumites

if you're from nigeria then you'll need this papers


change of ownership
you'll get this from ministry


certificate of ownership
you'll get this from ministry


insurance coverage clearance
you'll get this from insurance company (usually agents) at the ministry


vehicle license number
you'll get this from the ministry


chasis number
you'll get this from the ministry


certificate of road worthiness
you'll get this from the police


police clearance
you'll get this from the police



Ministry i mean is ministry of transport (local)
