Two Very Important Questions For Christians. by OhiGentle(m): 2:16pm On Dec 07, 2015
Its very sad to see that so many people say they are Christians but don't even know what the Words of God means. On another note some people can't go to church because they are either ashamed of the amount of money they have as offering or they don't even have at all.

Jesus fed the multitude because he knew they needed food and he didn't ask for offering.
The word of God is meant to spread out to the world to save lives but yet we have to buy it when some people can't afford it.

QUESTION 1: Is it right to sell the Bible and even anything that has to do with the word of God?

QUESTION 2: Aside paying of tithes, is offering really compulsory or is it the responsibility of the church to cater for its members who are to be actually called followers?

Bibles are printed by corporations, who make an investment and expect returns. They have staffs to pay, and families to feed.
That being said, it's a beautiful way for the church to spread the word, by handing out free Bibles, and changing lives.
But not stopping there...
We don't have to wait for the church to give out free Bibles. When last did you do that? The church isn't the building, it's you and I. When Jésus speaks to the church, he's speaking to you and me, his followers. He doesn't know no denominations... Ain't no Redeemed or Living Faith with him. You are either for him, or not. No denominations.

Offering is a thing of freewill. That's why I like churches that provide envelopes or allow that, as well as those, that you hold the offering, closed in your fingers, so the next man doesn't know what you are giving.. It's between you and your God... Not those that have that as the highlight of the service.

That being said... If thé bible is to be summed up in one word... It's love... Gods love for us. Creating man in his own image is love... Rédemption... Love... First and second greatest commandments? Love...

Doesn't even take being a Christian to show love. Let's be there for one another, and walk the walk, not just talk.

If anyone ends up going to hell...It's not Gods hatred... But you, not having love for things that concern him.
