Organization ZAIN Department N/A Division Corporate Service Job position general Manager, Corporate Services Reports to Group CEO Supervises Head of departments of HR, Procurement, Inventory Management & stores Logistics & Support Service Grade Level General Manager SUBJECT DESCRIPTION Job summary Ensure that Company complies with appropriate legal requirements for the continued existence of the company and effectively mitigate the company’s legal exposure Perform all Company Secretarial and administrative duties of the Board of Directors Provide oversight on all activities aimed at promoting company corporate image and managing the interface with the media, other corporate entities and the public/ society at large Oversee and coordinate the day to day activities of the division and approve the divisions work programmes and plans Coordinate and oversee all activities concerning Human Capital Management, Procurement, Stores and Inventory Management Principal Duties and Responsibilities • Coordinate the drafting, vetting and review of all statutory and regulatory agreements, perfections, contracts and other formal arrangements including administrative and personnel matters • Champion the articulation of alliance guidelines and agreement with third parties and liaise with operators/ regulators in the industry for implementation • Oversee the appointment of external legal solicitors to assist in providing legal services to Company • Attend to external enquiries on the directorate, incorporation and shareholding of the company • Oversee the development and implementation of effective media/ public relations and crisis management systems and processes • Define, implement and ensure strict adherence with standard policies and procedures which guides both internal and external information dissemination • Manager the overall media relations program for Company and serve as first line interface between company and key stakeholders in local and international print and electronic media • Liaise with media and public relations agencies accuracy and consistency in all external communications • Ensure timely and prompt development and implementation of the internal communication plan • Supervise the planning , organizing and convening of public relations, corporate and social events e.g. press conferences, long service awards etc., for the organization • Oversee the implementation of approved corporate Social Responsibility and community Development strategy and initiatives that will enhance the corporate image of the organization • Provide strategy leadership and coordinate the activities of the HR department • Champion the development of the company HR strategy, work plans and programmes and ensure alignment with the divisional strategy, goals and objectives • Demonstrate ownership of the department ;s strategic direction and objectives to relevant staff • Champion the formulation and effective implementation of recruitment strategies and plans to identify, select, hire and retain the best talent to meet Company manpower needs • Provide leadership support and strategic direction in the execution of the department ‘s work plans and programmes and ensure synergy with the divisional focus • Champion the implementation of Company procurement and inventory management practices and updating of policies in order to ensure cost optimization, effective management of resources and minimize loss of stock • Coordinate the provision of effective logistics and support services for all the various subsidiaries • Oversee the preparation and implementation of the division annual budget • Support the GCEO in communicating the activities and achievements of the company/division to all relevant stakeholders • Acts on behalf of and perform other duties as assigned by the company CEO • Excellent communication (written and oral) interpersonal and negotiation skills • High level of integrity and demonstrated ability to manage confidential information • Good analytical and problem solving skills • Excellent organization and management skills • Strong leadership , supervisory and people management skills • High sense of responsibility, accountability and dependability Key Performance Indicators • Timeliness and accuracy of monthly and annual financial reports • Timeliness and accuracy of all management reports on people, current assets (stocks) and GIT • Adequate publicity and media coverage of all Company functions • Positive media impressions of the Company Competency and Skills Requirements • Working knowledge and understanding of the Nigerian legal framework (corporate and commercial law) • Good appreciation of competitive media and public relations strategy send your CV's to skidino4su@gmail.com or enquiries@doheneyservices.com Candidates will be contacted soon. |
