Ten (10) candidates who participated in the 2015 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination of 2015 have been rewarded for their exceptional performance in the exam by Pass.Ng and Airtel Nigeria.

The maiden edition of the Pass Excellence Awards ceremony was held at the Sofitel, MoorHouse Ikoyi, Lagos on the 4th of December 2015 with an impressive theme “Excellent life – What we do is who we become.”

The Pass Excellence awards – a Pass.Ng initiative which was well supported by known brands across various industries – such as Wechat Nigeria, UR4Africa, and Red Media; came about out of a need to reward brilliant academic excellence in Nigeria.

Being the first of its kind, the awards hopes to identify and reward candidates who performed exceptionally in major examinations across the country with help from any of our platforms.




In a welcome Address by the CEO – Mr Samson Abioye, he said “we have come here today celebrate the excellence of the 10 awardees on the pass.ng platform that thrived in the recent JAMB examination (Nigerian pre-university entrance examination). By celebrating these ones we are setting the pace for the promotion of excellence as a life and culture in Nigeria and Africa.”

Each of the awardees was gifted with Laptops courtesy Lenovo and Intel Nigeria as well as award plaques. The top two (2) performers in the 2015 UTME; Miss Bamidele Faith and Mr Ani Joshua were rewarded each with scholarship worth thousands of Naira courtesy Airtel Nigeria.

The awardees, who were full of excitement, expressed gratitude and are ever grateful to the team at Pass.ng, promising to remain steadfast in their academics and round-up in flying colours.
