The Court of Appeal sitting in Benin-City, Edo State on Monday, upheld the State House of Assembly election petition tribunal judgment, which had upheld the election victory of Hon Peter Uviejitobor, winner of the April 11, 2015, House of Assembly election for Udu constituency. It would be recalled that the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Udu constituency, Moses Odibo, approached the Appeal Court to set aside the judgment of election petition tribunal, Asaba which affirmed Uviejitobor’s victory. http://nigerianpilot.com/appeal-court-upholds-delta-assembly-members-victory/ |
