Dressing up and looking good during the Christmas season is challenging. Yes you're happy about the season and which comes as a period of intense happiness and good mood. Christmas is here again but choosing the right outfit during this time just like the rainy season of June /July is not an easy task. Shopping is an excitement especially for new clothings and fashion accessories but you just have to make the right choices to be style despite the weather condition.

The Christmas season is not just notoriously cold but has extreme dryness, dust and wind. How to you keep your fashionista reputation intact and remain provocative when others take cover from the harmattan?

• Avoid Heavy Make Up

A Lot of ladies would be tempted to make up to cover their fast drying skins  and broken lips. You must avoid the temptation of making up to intensely. Just as the harmattan has taken a toll on your lips and skin, it could also do thesame on your heavy makeup causing it to terribly dry. Make up should be light, best go for good skin moisturizers and lip gloss. If you must use lip stick, red lip  would always remain perfect for the harmattan season.

• Dress For The Season

You might be tempted to go against the tides of the harmattan by dressing as you like despite the harsh weather. This could turn out to be an absolute wardrobe disaster.  Just because it's xmas, don't forget it's also cold and dry so wear good clothes and cover up. White, black, cloths could look obviously dusty when exposed to the wind and are really not fashionable for the christmas. Adopt other colors.

Despite your good body cream, it's still not advisable to expose your legs and your entire arms all for looking good. Wear fashionable wool and leather clothings, thick enough to insulate you from the dusty harmattan. This is the perfect time to look like a biker or a rock star.

• Put Off Wearing Slippers & Sandals For A While.

This is the best time to avoid shoes and slippers when outing and adopt wearing shoes to cover up your feet and prevent them from looking dry and broken. Shoes act as a protector and would also make you look good. Absolute black and white foot wears are not fashionable they would easily get dusty when exposed to dust and wind. Brown  and grey foot wears  quiet fashionable of and can easily adaptable for the season.

• Don't Ignore Your Hair

Ladies look their best during this time, ensuring their hair is in style for the season. you must also understand that using harsh chemicals during this time would leave your hair vulnerable to relaxer chemical burns. Also people with fragile hair have use quality hair food to prevent brakeage and falling of the hair.  Men should cut their hair to a responsible size anything above low and clean might just be intolerable to the sight . The windy and dusty season has a high tendency to accumulate much dust and dirt into the hair. if you are not ready to spend good money on hair products, best to keep it low and clean.

• Don't Forget To Pick Up That Sun Shades

Lots of people are not used to wearing the sun shades during this season, they are Infact more worried about the cold than their eyes. You have to worry about the both because from the cold, comes the wind and the wind also carries dust particles along with it at quiet an intense velocity. Pick up some fancy glasses look good and protect your eyes. Enjoy the season.
