BraniacX:How do you know this? Because everyone flocks to Lagos? It doesn't make you look intelligent to make spurious assumptions. I am Lagosian I think I know better. Because we are swamped with the whole of Nigeria's population does not make us the least in population. 1 Like |

That is why figures and facts are sacred and sacrosanct. The easy line of thought is that FG civil service is populated by Northerners, but this facts shows the reverse is the case. Although, i know this does not include the military and para military. 3 Likes |

Mrbllymer: That doesn't justify the 700 from a State of 14million while a State of 5 million has almost 6000. The reason is because Kano people have less interest in Government job which of course is good. |

BraniacX:You changed your statement. Initially you said that Lagos has the lowest of indigenous population in Nigeria. This is false. There are definitely other states in Nigeria with a lower total indiginous population such as Bayelsa and Eboniyi. I agree with your new statement that the ratio of indigenous to total residents in Lagos is probably the lowest in Nigeria. Lagos is the only state in Nigeria where the number of people who come to the state is higher than the number of people who are originally from there. This isn't because the Lagos indigenous population is small but because the number of migrants is ridiculously high. Lagos grows at a rate of 600,000 people per year. 1 Like |
