Congrats to Sen Akpabio despite d initial fire from Sharia tabloid SR. Putting our diff apart, this is one ex gov whom d people shd ordinarily not have presented any opponent to him cos of his giant strides but politics being what it is he still was challenged. Am from Imo but I pray for a gov dat can achieve in Imo 1/10th of what this man did for d Akwaibomites. He changed d psyche of my AkwaIbom friends who hitherto will claim they are from Calabar and they ll now tell u with pride, dignity and honour that they are from Akwa Ibom and also stopped Nollywood from using Okon, Akpan, Ekaite etc names for mockery roles. Outside his devpmntal efforts, this is one achievmnt I still feel till tomorrow dat money alone cant buy. |
