Pls can anyone tell me if it is legal for Ecobank to charge 6% monthly interest rate (=at least 72% annually) for thier credit card account holders. I mean is this allowed under CBN regulation?

i have the card. i got mine sometimes in 2007. the interest is not encouraging me to repay. i bet CBN should intervene, most of those cards have run into bad debts since many people that i know are not repaying due to the huge charges accruing. the bank is saying that people should come and give post dated cheques like normal loans but the issue is the exhorbitant rate.
