This is weird to me. I would think a Muslim is a Muslim, I didn't know there were different factions. Are they reading different versions of the quoran? How come one faction is peaceful and the other is deadly?

From the little I know the Shiites (Shia Ali - Party of Ali) in Islam are like the Protestants in Christianity. They constitute about 10% -15% of worldwide population of Muslims and they never supported Caliphs under state (Ottoman empire) control. Shiites are majority in Iraq, Iran & Syria. They do support freedom fighters(terrorists depending on whose side you belong) like Hezbolla in Lebanon. Iran was liberal in the past, women dressed without coverings until Ayatolla(a Shia) took over.
Having the Shiite group increasing in number in Nigeria is a big threat to the Saudi influence on Sunni Muslims - consider a situation where half the Muslims in Africa becomes Shia , that will increase the population of Shiites in the world to about 45% of the worldwide Muslim population.

@ maryvivian, the first picture depicts soaked ground and the leaves are blooming meaning it's rainy season in there.

But the question is this; we are in the middle of dry infact harmattan period. How come everywhere is wet?
Where are those leaves blooming?

And I'm sure somebody will move this to the front page without considering this.
