A customer came to my office last week and complain of an attempt to withdraw money from her account. She received a text from BVN that her account has been block because of BVN and she was adviced to call a certain number. She called the number and disclosed her card details. Because of the security features of our bank we intercepted the fraudsters efforts to access her account. She was called and ask to visit any branch close to her Fellow NLs if you receive any message on BVN please visit your branch/bank for clarification.even if the message is from CBN or world bank, please visit your bank.
