I onced lived this terrible and self destructive life, at a time, I felt I was never going to overcome, I kept praying and asking God to help me and it seemed as though I was wasting my time, but one thing about God is that He constantly wishes and wants us well.
The first thing you need to understand is that you are in a fierce war with satanic agents - invisible to the human eye but so real as you and me.

I engaged in a spiritual war against these wicked vipers - this was necessary to reclaim all the natural virtues that God had pre-deposited in your life, engaged in total sanctification through prayer and fasting and asked God "what next" ... and he showed me three major techniques to continuously overcome.

Before anything, confess your sins and submit to the Lord Jesus. Genuinely tell him to come into your life and make you anew. YES it's the first step before any other step to Victory. When you are done with this then you can now roll;

1. Guiding the heart and mind diligently: prov. 4:23 this is the first step to wining, because your mind is the initial battlefield, if you loose this initial battle, then it will be by God's divine grace for you to stand. Immediately the thought comes ino your mind, resist and rebuke it aggressively (you will have to speak it with faith and confidence, James 4:7b.) The moment this happens it will be as if you are poured cold water and you will Feel sudden calmness. I strongly recommend this books "battlefield of the mind" by Joyce Meyer, and "Pigs in the parlor" by Frank Hammond.

2. Be alert and vigilant: You have successfully scaled through step one and you are happy but you are just getting started because demons never give up, they have been on earth before us and have handled even tougher people before now and still messed them up, so what you just did seems to be like a newbie stunt to them. The Bible says 'be sober and vigilant because your adversary the devil as a ROARING LION seeketh whom he will destroy. 1pet:5v8. You need to develop that mindset of the active presence of demonic presence around you, because the most workable trick used by these wicked entities for ages is to give us an impression that they ARE NOT REAL!
Why you this mindset is to keep yourself active because they will be coming a second time, with fiercer energy, and when do resist them again. If you are in a room or in an enclosed place kindly step out of that place, remember it's a war and it's not about just spiritual but also physical. Don't worry, in a couple of months you would have garned sufficient grace to resist the thoughts and maintain position.

3. Cut off negative stimulants and pollutants: There are things you must stop to maintain soundness. pornography, toxic relationships and associations, you may not believe but if you are a fan of trace, hip tv, soundcity or other secular music channel, I tell you this truth that majority of what is being pushed to us is sexually defiling, Highly contaminable and destructive. The magnitude of what you take into your mind is what later hunts or uplifts you.
The word of God must be your constant companion because that is the only way you can get fresh first hand clue from God to rewin.
I am a living testimony of God's divine deliverance and I assure you that soon you will also be a n encouragement to someone to. Be strong, be courageous, God is faithful, His thoughts for you are of peace and not of evil, You will overcome, because Christ overcame, He knows you need help, keep asking him to fix you again, and He would.

This is a tough one though, but you may try by starting one or two things. Not too sure how spirituality or prayers could stop that permanently, but you could try that too if you have to. But the most surest method I will recommend are Determination and Discipline.
First step is to start by deleting ALL Indecency Videos from your phones, computers and every other places that you could have them handy. Then determined that you will never replace them anymore. The second phase is even the tougher step, but if you are determined and disciplined, you can overcome that phase too. Though it won't be as simple as pressing some buttons to delete because it has to do with virtual, imagery, fantasies in your brain and mind. The only way to overcome this is by being Disciplined. Start by trying not to think or fantasize any act of sex. Keep away from anything that could trigger the urge. If you can overcome that in a day or two, then you can deal with it. At least overcoming the addiction part of it. From there you keep progressing.

The last step which could come much later after you have overcome the above two steps is to try and get into a relationship with the "right" woman. Though some people may disagree with me on that. But no matter how we may try to run away from realities, they always comes back. You must be able to build the right and normal sex life. If you are addicted to masturbation, homosexual or any kind of abnormal sex life for a very long time, then be rest assured that you can never get a sexual satisfaction with any woman. That is just the reality. It doesn't matter if all the pastors and imams lay hands on you to pray or speak in tongues. That is the reason why one needs to build the normal sex life notwithstanding your religious beliefs.

Brother, I understand your situation well. To be honest with you, it's only God that can help you out of this. Just surrender to him, bearing in mind that each time you commit masturbation that you offend him. Also know that you masturbate is as a result of your mind set, if you don't conceive it in your heart then you cannot do it.
