Returning Officer in the March 28, House of Representatives  election for Obio Akpor federal constituency in Rivers State, Dr Ebirien Fubara has been killed alongside his son at their residence in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The  sad incident occurred weekend.  Meanwhile, when contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Ahmad Muhammad said, the police was not aware of the ugly development.


A source said the men used hammer, iron and rod to attack the victims. It was said  the late Fubara’s son died instantly, while Fabura and Okwudili were rushed to the Braithwaite Memorial Specialist Hospital, BMSH.
