You should know that one of the things making these protest common is because Saudi tactically told the world that Nigeria is now among those fighting Sunni terrorist and the President of Nigeria in his wisdom had not come out to debunk the claim as other nations in the list did.
it means Nigeria is telling the rest of the world that it is ready to Join Saudi in her fight against Iran.
Something worst than BH is on it way if the President don't speak out sooner.

His body language is speaking.

honestly speaking, what happened on the road is very much irrelevant. Both sides are wrong there.

What is relevant to me is that the army used the earlier road incident as excuse/cover up/pretext to launch two assaults at the worship center and at the cleric's home. During the siege and raid many were killed and the structures got demolished. These are crimes against humanity committed and human rights violations. No one really care that the army reacted -by taking law into their hands -to road block and many understand that the blocking of road and confronting soldiers who don't value lives is wrong. The problem is the siege on the house and the hussainiyyah.

Many are distracted by what happened on the road. The army is using the road incident to cover up their assault on and demolition of the house and hussainiyyah. Many lives were wasted. That is wrong and unjustifiable even under military rule.

The siege and assault on the home and worship center came after the road incident had ended. Why?

The COAS should please not resign. He should either remain and continue to tarnish the image of the APC government and the image of the country, or let him be sacked immediately and punished for his crimes. This is a democracy and no one should be a victim of religious persecution. Citizens should be free to choose what beliefs they want to follow.

Bros stop reading your quran upside down, say no to religious extremism, shiites, sunni, sufi, tijaniyah, quadiriyah, all na wash, i can't remember the last time the animists among us ever create any problem for Christians and Moslems, it is always the so called children of God that are creating problems everywhere.
That man Zakizaki or whatever and his goons are trouble makers, that man has been striking terror into the hearts of the residents of Kaduna Zaria axis for so long or are you just hearing about him for the first time?.

Buhari is fast biting more than he can chew.

It's not long it's on news that unarmed Biafra protesters were killed by Buhari's armed forces.

If the shiites blocks the main road again we will kill them again, who give that the right to do that? That's how u people support evil

Well then, be prepared to fight a second Boko Haram...By the end of Buhari's administration, Nigeria will be in a domestic war with different groups. The Nigerian military would be spread so thin that their effectiveness would be almost zero. Nigeria is literally bankrupt at the moment, not only are we suffering from economic instability which is leading to poverty, our national security is at stake. Different countries are now stakeholders in our affairs. This is not the time to make more enemies, rather, build a peaceful coalition with different groups. You cannot build a country (infrastructures) in a war environment.

Nigeria is too complicated. Boko haram believe is almost the same with the shiite.we need to get raid of them before they become stronger like boko haram.

The northern elders has alot of work to do if they actually want peace and progress in Nigeria.

Shiite sect members in India took to the streets to protest the killing of their members by Nigerian army in Zaria.

This is really getting out of control.Don't you think the story is generating a global attention which is likely to tarnish our image at the international scene? The earlier President Buhari arrests the condition, the better for Nigeria.

Instead of them to be rational in their thinking.. Asking their foolhardy members why they stupidly decided to block the passage of the COAS of a sovereign country..?

As if say na their mpa get road... If them ask them to bring money to repair that road them go claim not having buh dere they were blocking a whole federal/state road...

They are there irrationally protesting the killing of their members like fowl...

Brainwashed sets of people thinking the world was created to have only their name imprinted on it..

Quick fact, there are about 1.2 Billion people in India, that's roughly the population of Africa. The ratio of women to men is said to be 2:1, this means there are ABOUT 800Million women in India, still their men choose to rape women, I think India needs to figure out what's wrong with their men before trying to put their nose in what's happening in Nigeria

This better be fake!!! What kind of name is Shiite by the way?

Stop spreading false information please, there are more Men in Indian than Women.

Bunch of fools on Nairaland. Majority of u guys haven't traveled 20 Miles off ur native homes or ur place of birth, what more would we expect from people without sensible contribution to human development. I get so agitated to read comments like 'let them go to hell..' 'We don't need any peace from them' 'let them kill them all..' Imagine! Besides, what's the difficult thing about those their request if that will bring peace to the country at large. Probably the issue of Boko haram wouldn't have degenrated to this if the government of then had burried her pride. A clear case of extral judicial killing was confirmed, yes, and the group requested the Military investigate and do them justice, secondly, they put up a claim that the government has not taken a step to apologise or maybe visit the family of their leader to sympathise with them.. Those two conditions were taken for granted and escalated to what now cost the country billions of Dollars with frantic effort to straighten up now. When we want to complicate issues, we start telling ourselves 'Americans don't negotiate with terrorist' forgetting that every country have a unique way of going about their problems, being secret way or open.

I've lived a considerable years in both North and Southern part of this country, Notherners by Nature, they are always too carried away by their grievances than think about the consequeces or future or even economical implication of their actions. They don't build mansions like some of us, they have little or nothing to lose

Too bad that some of us don't really ponder over things, we rather get focused to what we had in mind to say. Some don't even read to the bottom line.

We have failed to come to a simple understanding of a divine orientation for humanity. When God created us all there were no visas, no borders and our simple assignment was simply to dominate animals. A return to the traditional role of man is all that can save us.

In view of the near impossibility of man's unity...we remain just senior level animals.

See interpretation o!

Why would God favor you over animals which he also created, and ask you to dominate them? Would that not have amounted to discrimination?

Can't you see that every creation on our dear Earth is there to mutually co-exist for the benefit of the whole ecosystem?

Small small, your type would start saying God created some human beings to dominate or be dominated by others!

Kindly be careful and circumspect with what you arrogate to yourself as a human being.

You are not on point bro! You mentioned that the major event that took place do not bother you (The road incidence). Before that day, How many Buratai led Army group(s) have you heard that have gone to people's house to massacre them like dat without justification. It is high time we Nigerians should see the NA's responsibility of fighting Terrorism as ours too. Dont let us allow political sentiment or BIASED human right flu to overshadow our simple judgement. I am not accusing SHIITES of terrorism (only God can determine dat for now), but courtesy demands anybody or organisation dat solicit peace to portray dat peace. No 1, if u want to observe such religious service, there are other better places or reserved places that ought to be provided for such activity (not a public road meant for every Nigerian which means u r implying that everybody should do what u r doing as at dat particular moment, it wont work! they call it ANARCHY. 2. Lets assume by the virtue of any reason, they are forced to make use of that place, not only courtesy that demands them opening the road IMMEDIATELY regardless of what they are doing but also patriotism (Immediately they notice the presence of the COAS of the FRN). 3. They are fully aware of the present situation of the country (most esp. in the North there, and the fear of terrorism being nursed by Nigerians everyday. If they are peaceful as being claimed, they should not have gotten to a confrontational stage before it escalated to the killings.
Coming from my regional background, nobody will dare it, not because of religion, not because of politics, we will even show some hailing to let them know that we realise and appreciate their effort in order to encourage them. I pray that we don't allow all these sentiments and hypocrisy to lead us to us going out to war terrorism ourselves if the Military backs off.
