Six Things That Got Jose Mourinho Sacked by Shevmaen(m): 8:14pm On Dec 17, 2015 |
1. Eva Carneiro The first match of the season led to an extraordinary bust-up between Mourinho and club doctor Eva Carneiro. With Chelsea down to 10 men following the sending-off of keeper Thibault Courtois against Swansea and hanging on at 2-2, Carneiro ran on to the pitch to treat the injured Eden Hazard. Mourinho was furious as Hazard had to leave the pitch to rejoin th action, leaving his side down to nine. He responded by blasting the doctor publicly - so much so tha she lost her job so that she is suing him for constructive dismissal. 2. Too many defeats Nine defeats in 17 Premier League matches - as many as Jose Mourinho had suffered in his previous two seasons as Chelsea boss - has left the club one point above the relegation zone and in 16th place. 3. Lost the dressing room With Jose raging at all his players, accusing them of 'betrayal' , one reportedly said he would rather lose than win for Mourinho. Then the manager seemed to accuse Eden Hazard or faking injury against Leicester this week. Dropping Cesc Fabregas, John Terry and Nemanja Matic was seen as act of desperation - but taking Matic off after bringing him on as sub was seen as step too far by some. 4. Spoilt brat behaviour Mourinho has been subjected to a one-match stadium ban and a £40,000 fine, as a result of his behaviour in the 2-1 loss to West Ham on October 24. These two incidents are just two of many on Mourinho’s lengthy rap sheet during his time in West London. 5. Transfer dealings Chelsea's failure to improve their squad this summer has proved hugely detrimental to Jose Mourinho. If the Portuguese can be blamed for that is unclear given the fragmented way transfers happen in modern football, but the transfers this summer were highly questionable. Papy Djilobodji has yet to pull on a Chelsea shirt in the first team, Radamel Falcao has been an unmitigated disaster which is no surprise given his performances at Manchester United last season and the signing, and subsequent loan back to Reading of Michael Hector was frankly bizarre. Only Asmir Begovic, Pedro and to a lesser extent Baba Rahman have been involved in the Premier League and their impact has been minimal. These are not the additions you would expect from a club of the size of Chelsea and it's cost Jose. 6. He’s not ‘The Special One’ anymore Just like in Italy and Spain, the press have grown tired of his antics and frosty attitude, with Mourinho’s inability to handle criticism in the media only continuing to stir the pot. Even the general public don’t love Mourinho anymore. The Chelsea boss was a media darling when he returned to the club in 2013 but is now seen as tedious. |

Pride goeth before a fall, couple of months ago Jose Mourinho was hassling a Female doctor that was doing her job, his fall has been longtime coming. He's too proud and arrogant. He felt invincible but now he has been demystified. Now that he is in the job market, Sharks of Port Harcourt will certainly find his experience useful ...lolz And again, Ivanovic, terry, hazard, fabregas, costa etc, they were the ones running the revolt against Mourinho and they contributed immensely to see that he was fired. |
